Sonic Spotlight is a music showcase that highlights emerging music in Northern Colorado. Brought to you by Fort Collins Museum of Discovery, 105.5 The Colorado Sound, and Bohemian Foundation, Sonic Spotlight provides opportunities to musicians looking to level up their craft.
Now in its Sixth year, Sonic Spotlight supports fresh sounds from any genre; selected artists and bands will get a chance to work with industry experts, connect with creative peers, receive radio airplay, create professional music videos, book live shows, and more.
This Fall, 8 selected artists will take over the airwaves on 105.5 The Colorado Sound on Wednesday, February 4th, for the SONIC ROUND. Three finalists will then move on to create new music videos with VIA’s professional production crew.
The SPOTLIGHT ROUND will take place Tuesday march 24, 2026 at The Armory. Finalists will get a chance to debut their music videos and perform live in front of friends, family, and hundreds of new fans. A panel of music industry professionals will determine which artists advance, and ultimately, which artist is named winner of Sonic Spotlight.
